Leave your vinyl flooring to acclimatise in the intended room for 24 hours.

Mix 1 or 2 drops of liquid dish soap in a spray bottle of water. The wet method is usually recommended for the larger simple designs and any application where the application surface is recessed or embossed ie. Use the support to remove any excess trim around the area. Application vvivid vinyl wraps may be dry or wet applied.

Vinyl flooring installation typically takes between 1 2 days to complete. For vinyl sheet flooring add 75ml to each edge to allow for cutting and trimming. Avoid joins in wet areas to prevent water from getting underneath the vinyl. Small vinyl lettering and decals should be installed dry.

The dry method as its name indicates does not use fluid but rather depends on the skill of the installer to correctly position the film. Some types of vinyl flooring such as plank and tile need a few days to acclimate to the temperature and humidity in your home prior to the installation. Get the surface and vinyl adhesive wet. Those who are still learning need the flexibility that wetting solutions can offer.

2 1 lay the vinyl wrap on the flat sur face without removing the lining. The wet application method applies a vinyl graphic to a substrate by using a fluid to assist with positioning. We recomend using the wet application method for flat surfaces only. Tape the piece to hold it in place.

This process prevents expanding and contracting after the flooring is installed.
