Wet Carpet In Car Drivers Side

My floor is wet i m the front and back mainly on passenger side and it hasn t rained my car is a 2007 lexus gs350. Car is damped in the back of the driver side. The car in question is a mk4 polo. The back is soaked but it s just the back of my driver side.

Ciara on september 01 2019. 2004 ford mustang the driver s side rear floor is absolutely soaked after a heavy rain. It had a ton of salt buildup and crud all over it. The carpet was wet along the whole left side like it went over the entire left edge also had a large pool in the middle.

This is due to clogged sunroof drains. It was so bad i took it out to scrub it better. We do not feel any water around the roof liner or other carpeting just the well where a rear passenger riding on the driver s side would put their feet. Wet carpet on driver s side rear floor when it rains.

It s a old car and i don t want to put to much money into it. This is when i noticed the wet carpet. If i park the car flat or downhill then i will have the wet drivers side carpet. The carpet was soaked due to water leaking on the floor.

Ive recently noticed when i was hoovering the car that the drivers side only is wet. Got home and did my usual cleanup and had to clean the floor mat on the drivers side. Today we find and fix the water leaking inside my car. Please tell me its not bad news.

I will try the clean the sunroof drains and door drains to see if that will fix it. So i never know when i m going to jump in my truck and wet carpet wet brake pedal or my dash getting destroyed because of moisture and water getting behind it. I have a 2001 pf which is parked slightly uphill on my driveway.
